By M. W. Allen This book is the best I've come across in the 5 years I've had advanced diabetes. It is not only thorough in describing the impact of the disease on all parts of the body, but also is absolutely up to date as to available treatment. It is both an excellent introduction to diabetes as well as a guide to living with the disease and finding improvements in quality of life. And the price is low enough to be affordable by all. To be well informed and up to date you can't do better than this book!

My sister is diabetic and this book was a gift. She loves it and thinks that she's really found a source for good information and hints on how to modify her cooking, etc. She has put it to good use!
