I can't tell you how many slow cooker cookbooks I've bought that just end up having the same old recipes. I already know how to make beef stew, meatballs and chili. This book has some of the classics but also recipes that are new and different but not so out there that I'm afraid to try it.

The one thing I wished I had done prior to purchasing this book was to preview it at a local book store first, this book does not have many items that I would be likely to cook therefore it will likely collect more dust than anything else.
