Diabetic CookingMay 16, 2011
By Vicki Ruzicka
"Voracious Reader"
I live with a diabetic and I'm the main cook. This helpful book is chockfull of super recipes. Not the labor-intensive kind (which is a turn-off), but easy-to-make, delicious meals. When reading through the recipes, it struck me how yummy they sounded and yet amazingly, healthy for everyone, not just diabetics. I've made a few already and they were big hits. I'd confidently serve some of the main dishes to guests. As a bonus, the Snack section recipes are fun to eat and healthy in the bargain. I've made some of those recipes as our main dinner.
I like all cookbooks to be ring-bound so they lie flat when assembling their meal ingredients. This book is not only ring-bound, it has color-coded tabs for finding your specific meals quickly and easily. I highly recommend this cookbook.
